SailGP is the global league of sailing races on-water, where adrenaline, excitement, sustainability, and cutting-edge technology come together. With teams aboard identical boats, which heightens the competition even more, the F50s can reach speeds of up to 100 km/h and are considered the fastest in the world, pushing the limits of speed.
In May 2025, Rio de Janeiro will host one of the events of the circuit, the Enel Rio SailGP, which will take place in Guanabara Bay. Brazil will be the first country in South America to compete, with the Mubadala Brazil SailGP Team, the first and only team led by a woman, two-time Olympic champion Martine Grael.
