SAILGP EVENT ACCESS TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. These Conditions are issued by F50 League LLC (trading as SailGP) (“SailGP”), and govern admission and entry to, and use of, any and all Venues by Attendees.
  2. The acquisition and use of tickets for the Brazil Sail Grand Prix event, Rio de Janeiro 2025, to be held at Assador and the outdoor area, located at Avenida Infante Dom Henrique, s/n, Flamengo, Rio de Janeiro/RJ, between May 3 and 4, 2025 (“Event”) implies acceptance of the following Terms and Conditions which have been established for the safety and enjoyment of all Attendees. Any and all Tickets are issued by or on behalf of SailGP. Each Ticket is and shall remain at all times the property of SailGP and/or a Promoter. In the event of a breach of any of these Conditions, the Ticket shall, upon the request of SailGP and/or a Promoter, be returned immediately to SailGP and/or a Promoter.
  3. The customer declares that they are aware of and agree with the event schedule, as stated on the Event page, the ticket purchase website, and the FAQ.
  4. Only original tickets, in either printed or digital format, are considered valid. The printed version must be in good condition, without creases, legible, free of smudges or tears, and with the barcode printed clearly. The only accepted digital version will be the one provided directly by the ticketing company, through the Eventim BR app. Screenshots, photos, or similar files will not be accepted by the Event.
  5. Tickets for the Waterfront grant simple access to a seat in the uncovered grandstand without hospitality services. Tickets for the Waterfront Premium grant access to a covered grandstand with hospitality services (food and drinks). The types of tickets allow access only to authorized areas; use in unauthorized areas or in an irregular manner will result in the immediate confiscation of the ticket and the expulsion of the ticket holder from the EVENT. 
  6. The customer who purchases their ticket through the Eventim Pass delivery method must follow the rules indicated on the ticket purchase platform for the Event: https://www.eventim.com.br/campaign/eventimpass-infos, in addition to adhering to the following characteristics:
    1. By selecting the Eventim Pass option at the time of purchase, it will not be possible to access the event using printed tickets. Screenshots/prints of tickets will not be accepted.
    2. The ticket will be accessed exclusively through the app, in its online version. It is not possible to convert the ticket to a PDF or collect a physical ticket at the box office.
    3. The Eventim Pass, like any other ticket type, grants access to only one person.
    4. The use of the ticket is not limited to the person whose name is registered on the ticket.
    5. The ticket will be available up to 1 (one) hour after purchase confirmation, and the QR CODE for validation will be available 24 (twenty-four) hours in advance.
    6. To access the event, simply present the QR CODE at the entrance, which is why we emphasize that login and password details are personal and non-transferable.
    7. The ownership of the ticket purchased through Eventim Pass can be transferred up to 2 (two) times. The transfer can be made until 10 (ten) o’clock in the morning of the selected event date.
    8. Any cancellations or refunds will only be processed to the original buyer’s account, even if the ticket ownership has been transferred, and will be done in full, never partially. To initiate the cancellation process, the original buyer must ensure that all tickets from the order are linked to the Eventim account where the purchase was made. This rule applies to all digital purchases.
    9. Any ticket replacements, as provided in these Terms and Conditions, will occur through the ticketing platform.
  7. The ticket grants access exclusively to authorized areas. Use of the ticket in unauthorized areas or in an improper manner will result in the immediate confiscation of the ticket and removal of the customer from the Event.
  8. The customer will not be allowed to re-enter the Event if they leave the event venue, even if they are still wearing the access bracelet or holding the ticket used for entry.
  9. Tickets classified as “promotional,” “courtesy,” “corporate,” free tickets, or similar are not subject to refunds and/or exchanges under any circumstances.
  10. The event is rated for individuals aged 15 (fifteen) years and older. The entry of minors is subject to change at any time, without prior notice, according to the permit issued by the Judge of the local Court of Childhood, Youth, and Elderly.
  11. The entry of minors under 15 (fifteen) years of age will only be permitted if they are clearly accompanied by their legal guardians, who must remain at the event venue while the minor is present. This rule, as well as the age classification, may be modified in accordance with the permit issued by the Judge of the local Court of Childhood, Youth, and Elderly, at any time and without prior notice.
  12. It is strictly prohibited to sell, offer, provide, serve, administer, deliver, or allow, even free of charge, the consumption of alcoholic beverages to individuals under the age of 18 (eighteen). The offender will be liable for a crime, punishable by imprisonment for 2 (two) to 4 (four) years and a fine (Art. 81 and 243, Law 8.069/90, as amended by Law 13.106/2015).
  13. All attendees of the Event, including those under the age of 18 (eighteen), must carry a photo identification, which may be requested at any time by event staff and/or the present law enforcement authorities, to verify age and legal guardianship.
  14. Children up to 5 (five) years old do not need to pay for a ticket, as long as they remain on their guardians’ lap while staying in the stands. To access the event without a paid ticket, the child’s age must be verified by the guardians at the event entrance through the presentation of the child’s birth certificate or the child’s original official photo ID.
  15. The half-price benefit will be granted in accordance with the current legislation, and the conditions for enjoying the half-price benefit must be met at the time of ticket purchase and when the beneficiary accesses the Event venue. If the benefit is not proven, the ticket holder will have the right to pay the remaining balance to cover the full ticket price in order to guarantee access to the event, or, if they do not, they will lose their ticket, with no possibility of refund.
  16. The half-price benefit is not cumulative (§ 1º, art. 1º of Federal Law No. 12.933/2013; and art. 7º of Federal Decree No. 8.537/2015).
  17. The customer expressly agrees that their image and audio may be captured and recorded during the Event, and hereby grants, free of charge and definitively, to the promoters, sponsors, partners of the Event, and any third parties designated by them, all image and audio rights they hold, for all purposes (commercial, institutional, and others), for use in any type of media, including television, without territorial, time, or frequency limitations, and through any communication means now known or that may exist in the future, without characterizing any misuse of image or other rights violations, and without the need for any fee and/or compensation for such use and/or transfer.
  18. If the maximum occupancy capacity of the Event is reduced by local authorities due to implemented health protocols or other reasons beyond the control of the event organizers, they reserve the right to cancel ticket sales above the new allowed capacity, without prior notice, respecting the chronological order of ticket purchases, and proceeding with the proper refund of the amounts paid by each customer.
  19. It is prohibited to smoke cigarettes, cigars, pipes, hookahs, and other tobacco products in enclosed or partially enclosed public or private collective spaces, as determined by State Law No. 5.517/09 and Federal Law No. 12.546/2011. The offender will be subject to a fine and may be asked to leave the Event venue.
  20. Entry to the Event with a REUSABLE water bottle for personal consumption is allowed, but it may be subject to content inspection to ensure there are no dangerous substances inside.
  21. Entry to the Event with food, drinks, and/or coolers is not permitted. Exceptions will only be made for medically necessary items or baby food, after proper inspection.The resale of the ticket is prohibited, as well as its use for promotional or institutional purposes, without the express written consent of the event promoters.

          Application of Conditions to Attendees

  1. By his/her attendance at an Event (whether by any use or attempted use of a Ticket, or by any access or attempted access to any Ticketed Areas or areas that are not Ticketed Areas), an Attendee shall be deemed to have been made aware of these Conditions, and to have accepted and agreed to comply with and be bound by, these Conditions.
  2. In addition, any Ticket Purchaser shall be deemed to have made any subsequent Ticket Holder expressly aware of these Conditions and is responsible for ensuring any subsequent Ticket Holder complies fully with these Conditions.
  3. In allowing the Attendee entry to the Venue, SailGP relies on the Attendee’s acceptance of, agreement to and strict compliance with these Conditions. The Attendee’s attendance at any Venues shall also be subject to any terms and conditions, warnings, rules or instructions displayed at those Venues or set out on the SailGP page      at  https://www.eventim.com.br/.

ATTENDANCE AT ANY AND ALL EVENTS BY ANY AND ALL ATTENDEES IS STRICTLY SUBJECT TO THESE CONDITIONS.

Application of Conditions to Ticket Purchasers

  1. SailGP or the Promoter on behalf of SailGP, may elect at its discretion to change the scope, schedule, running order and/or format of any aspect of the Event at any time.
  2. The Ticket Purchaser and Ticket Holders shall be responsible for all taxes associated with the purchase and use of the Tickets as required by Applicable Laws, including any Tickets which are received as part of a commercial arrangement and/or at a discount to the face value of the Tickets.

Cancellations and Refunds

  1. The Attendees, and any Ticket Purchaser, acknowledge and accept the nature of the Events means the format, timing and potential continuation of the Event are all potentially subject to change, variation, postponement, abandonment and cancellation. On this basis, the Event promoter relies on the expertise and experience of the race directors and Ticket Committee to determine what steps shall be taken in connection with the Event and the Tickets to reflect the specific circumstances of any such change, variation, postponement, abandonment and/or cancellation.
  2. SailGP or the Promoter on behalf of SailGP reserves the right to make changes to the times, dates and places of the Series or any Event due to unforeseen circumstances, including (without limitation) an Event of Force Majeure, safety and security concerns and/or decisions from any other competent authority including (without limitation) any race management, stewards or other officials involved with an Event. SailGP or the Promoter on behalf of SailGP will make reasonable attempts to adhere to any programme for the Event but is unable to guarantee that such programme can be maintained as per the programme for the Event.
  3. It is the Attendee’s responsibility to ascertain whether an Event has been cancelled or re-scheduled and the date and time of any re-scheduled Event. SailGP or the Promoter on behalf of SailGP will endeavour to announce that an Event is cancelled or re-scheduled by way of its website, social media and, where possible, on displays at the Venue but SailGP or the Promoter on behalf of SailGP does not guarantee the Ticket Purchaser will be informed of such cancellation before the date of the Event. In this sense, we would advise each Ticket Holder and Non Ticket Holder to regularly review      the Event’s oficial website and social media channels to keep up to date with the scheduling and operation of Events.
  4. The running schedule for the Event shall be operated by SailGP or the Promoter on behalf of SailGP to deliver an Event on each Attendance Day as it determines appropriate.
  5. Notwithstanding the foregoing, SailGP or the Promoter on behalf of SailGP reserves the right to cancel the whole or a part of the Series or an Event as a result of an Event of Force Majeure. In the event of such a cancellation, the Refund Policy set out      at the Event’s oficial website shall apply. SailGP will inform the Ticket Holders of any determination under the Refund Policy where possible including by way of display both at the Event and at https://www.eventim.com.br/.     . For the avoidance of doubt, Non Ticket Holders shall not be entitled to any form of compensation in the event of cancellation of the whole or a part of the Series or an Event.
  6. If the Event date is postponed for any reason, the ticket will be valid for the new date set by the event organizers, or the ticket price may be refunded to the purchaser, according to the organization’s instructions. In case of event cancellation, the ticket price will be refunded, except as provided in the following item.
  7. There will be no refund of the ticket price, any form of compensation, and/or new ticket if there is an interruption and/or cancellation of the race, session, and/or Event, resulting from an extraordinary or unforeseeable situation beyond the control of the organizers, as defined in Article 393 of the Brazilian Civil Code, in accordance with the provisions of item 6 below.
  8. POLICY FOR ADVERSE WEATHER CONDITIONS: In the event of suspension, interruption, and/or cancellation of the Event activities, session, and/or any race due to adverse weather conditions (such as, for example, strong winds, rain, excessive heat, among others, as determined by the event organization), we have:
  1. For races that have been started and are considered valid by Sail, regardless of the duration, there will be no right to a refund of the ticket price to the ticket holder, nor the issuance of a new ticket or any form of compensation, even if any race from the suspended/interrupted/canceled session is restarted on another day of the Event.
  2. For races that are suspended/canceled, the Event may determine a new date and/or time for the customer to watch the race, or the customer may opt for a refund of the ticket price.
  3. Whether or not a new date is set for any canceled race, except as provided in items “a” and “b” above, the customer who wishes to receive a refund of the ticket price must follow the refund instructions that will be published on the website help.eventim.com.br and sent to the email linked to the purchase within 5 business days. Customers who fall under one of the situations described above and choose to watch a new race may not request a refund of the ticket price.
  1. In connection with any cancellation or abandonment of an Event:

(a) the race director’s decision of how much of the Event has taken place will be final;

(b) the Ticket Committee’s decision on the refund policy for each Ticket will be final;

(c) only the original Ticket Purchasers are eligible for refunds and based solely on the actual price paid for each Ticket; and

(d) it is the official amount of the Event which has taken place which will be applied to the decision of the Ticket Committee rather than the amount of the Event an individual Ticket Holder may have viewed.

  1. Customers who are not residents of the event city will not be offered any reimbursement for food, transportation, accommodation, or other expenses due to the event’s cancellation caused by adverse weather conditions and/or events of force majeure or unforeseen circumstances, as well as due to actions taken by administrative, governmental authorities, or the Judiciary. In this case, there will be no refund of any amount paid, and the purchase cannot be canceled.
  2.      The organizers are not responsible for tickets that are lost, stolen, or damaged after delivered to the customer, and no refunds, replacements, or any form of compensation will be provided. SailGP or the Promoter on behalf of SailGP reserves the right to not replace or accept any      Ticket which is unreadable or incomplete.

               Conditions of Entry & Requirements

  1.      Admission to Ticketed Areas will only be authorized upon presentation of a valid Ticket for the date of attempted admission, in whole form and not defaced or damaged in any way. One (1) Ticket will be required for each person, and, upon request, the Ticket Holder shall provide proof of identity with valid photograph and signature.
  2. Terms and conditions of entry      will be      displayed at Venues. In the event of any conflict between these terms and conditions and any terms and conditions displayed at a Venue, the terms and conditions displayed at the Venue shall apply. SailGP The Event promoter and/or any Authorized Person may refuse admission to, or eject from, any and all areas of the Venue at any time without refund any Attendee who,     : (a) is in breach of any of these Conditions; (b) may be a source of danger, nuisance or annoyance or who may otherwise give rise to concerns in relation to the safety and security arrangements; (c) fails to comply with any Applicable Laws and /or with the instructions from any Authorized Person, police, steward or other security officer; (d) who is noticeably under the influence of alcohol, narcotics or any behaviour-modifying substance; (e) damages or tampers with any property of any third party; (f) attempts to or does smoke in any areas of the Venue which is designated as non-smoking; and/or (g) is in possession of any of the following prohibited items: (i) any article that is offensive, dangerous, hazardous and/or illegal; (ii) alcoholic beverages or narcotics (other than those prescribed by a registered medical practitioner) when entering the Venue; (iii) animals; (iv) banners, placards, leaflets, signs or other materials, items, objects or clothing displaying political, religious, offensive or race-related messages, slogans or images or promotional or commercial identification or messages in breach of these Conditions; (v) any camera or other type of photographic or recording device (of any nature whatsoever and whether capable of capturing still or moving pictures) other than for recreational and personal non-commercial use; (vi) is in possession of any Prohibited Item; and (vii) who does not comply with the Conditions of Entry. Any of the above items can be confiscated by SailGP or the Promoter as part of a security check or otherwise and SailGP or the Promoter      are not responsible for such confiscated items.
  3. The Attendee shall not engage nor assist others in any form of Ambush Marketing and shall not conduct any activity that conflicts with, impairs, infringes or denigrates the rights of SailGP, the Promoter or of any Commercial Partner.
  4. The Attendee shall not whilst in or around the Venue: (a) conduct any form of betting or gambling whatsoever; (b) conduct any promotions, advertising, competition, branding, marketing or other commercial activity; (c) offer any good(s) or service(s) for sale, including (without limitation) newspapers, periodicals, drinks, food, souvenirs, clothes or other merchandise; or (d) distribute or give away or attempt to distribute or give away any free items or any political, religious, charitable, commercial, advertising or promotional materials.
  5. The Attendee may be searched (including a reasonable search of the Attendee’s bags, clothes and other possessions) by or on behalf of SailGP and/or any Authorized Person prior to entry into or at any time within the Venue. Should the Attendee refuse to be searched in accordance with this Condition, the Attendee may be refused admission to and/or ejected from the Venue without refund or compensation. Prohibited items may be removed, confiscated and/or destroyed at the discretion of SailGP or Promoter and/or any Authorized Person and without obligation to return such items to the Attendee or to compensate the Attendee in respect thereof.
  6. The ticket holder, when present at the EVENT venue, must not carry items that represent risks to the safety and proper conduct of the EVENT, such as:

(i) Glass bottles regardless of capacity and bottles of any other material with packaging exceeding 500ml; (ii) Rigid containers with lids (e.g., plastic “Tupperware” containers), EXCEPT baby food jars; (iii) Cans; (iv) Helmets; (v) Firearms or any kind of sharp weapons (knives, pocket knives, brass knuckles, etc.); (vi) Chairs/stools; (vii) Umbrellas; (viii) Sharp objects; (ix) Piercing or cutting objects (scissors, utility knives, tweezers, nail clippers); (x) Fireworks, explosive devices, flares, incendiary devices, or any kind of flammable articles; (xi) Glass, plastic, or metal items (perfumes, cosmetics, including deodorants of any kind, toothpaste or toothbrush, among others); (xii) Alcoholic beverages (in any type of container); (xiii) Skateboards, bicycles, or any type of motorized or non-motorized vehicle, EXCEPT electric wheelchairs; (xiv) Sprays; (xv) Air horns; (xvi) Megaphones, laptops, tablets, power banks larger than a cell phone; (xvii) Paints, dyes, and other related products; (xviii) Neuromuscular incapacitation devices (tasers); (xix) Styrofoam, coolers, or any type of storage utensil; (xx) Drones and selfie sticks (selfie extenders); (xxi) Items that may be used for ambush marketing; (xxii) Poisonous and/or toxic substances, including illegal drugs; (xxiii) Flags or banners containing messages or symbols related to commercial promotions, football teams, organized fan groups, politics, or criminal content, as well as homophobic actions or behaviors; (xxiv) Other items that may be considered inappropriate by the EVENT organizers.

  1. The Attendee acknowledges that he/she is individually responsible for his/her own property brought into the Venue.
  2. The Attendee acknowledges that they must remain in any designated viewing areas whilst watching the Event and are not permitted in the race area of the Venue, or in any other restricted areas of the Venue, at any time.
  3. Ticket Holders acknowledge and accept that certain Tickets will require the Ticket Holder to attend and be available to travel to the designated viewing area by a certain time. If the Ticket Holder is not available at any such designated time or location as notified to it by SailGP or the Promoter and/or any Authorized Persons from time to time, then the Ticket Holder may not be able to access and view the Event and without liability (including the right of the Ticket Holder to claim any compensation) from SailGP or the Promoter.
  4.      In the interests of public safety, SailGP reserves the right to request Attendees to leave the Venue at any time for safety or immediately after the Event. There will be no admission or re-admission after the end of the Event.
  5. While at the Venue, Attendees should follow all reasonable instructions of all security personnel and always keep to the designated paths and access all viewing areas with caution using steps/paths as appropriate.
  6. Local law enforcement may have pre-installed CCTV equipment in use and this will be defined under the local jurisdiction laws.
  7. Customers whose actions are found to be in violation of these Terms and Conditions, as well as other rules applicable to the Event, may be prevented from entering the Event or may be removed from it, with their respective tickets being canceled without the right to a refund, at the discretion of the Event organizers.

Media & Recordings

  1. Attendees shall not make, create, store, record or transmit any kind of sound recording, visual footage, image and/or description of the racing (as well as any result and/or statistics of the race) (the “Recording”) other than for personal, private use or use on social media channels for personal and non-commercial, non-journalistc and/or non-news reporting purposes and in each case not more than 30 seconds continuous footage of any one race. Save as listed above, it is strictly forbidden to disseminate over the internet, radio, television or any other current and/or future media, any sound, image, description, or result and/or statistics of the racing in whole or in part, or assist any other person(s) conducting such activities including without limitation for commercial, news reporting or journalistic use. Each Attendee must not: (a) sell, assign, transfer or license the copyright in photographs and/or video taken at the Venues; or (b) publish, disseminate or reproduce such photographs for any commercial, news reporting or journalistic purpose.
  2. Each Attendee acknowledges that SailGP and authorized third parties may record or make film, photographs, visual or sound recordings of the Event (including, without limitation, of the Attendee) and hereby consents to the use of his or her image, likeness and voice, in live or recorded digital, video, film, broadcast, telecast or other display or transmission or recording, photograph or any other media, by any entity and for any purpose worldwide without payment or compensation of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by Applicable Law.      
  3. The purchase of the ticket(s) does not grant any license or concession for the use of the Event’s brand and/or logo, and the unauthorized use or reproduction is prohibited. Any violations of intellectual property rights regarding these brands will result in appropriate administrative and/or legal measures, including those related to similarities that may cause confusion or lead to errors.

Waiver & Indemnity

  1. The customer expressly acknowledges that the organizers are not responsible for any damages or incidents that occur before, during, or after their stay at the venue, except for incidents resulting from gross negligence or intentional harmful conduct by the organizers, provided that the ticket holder did not contribute to the occurrence of the damage.

Miscellaneous

  1. These conditions were originally drafted in English and translated into Portuguese, in accordance with Brazilian legislation. In the event of any conflict or ambiguity between the English version of these conditions and the Portuguese translation, the Portuguese version will prevail.
  2. The Attendee irrevocably and unconditionally consents to the collection, use and insertion into a database by or on behalf of SailGP of personal information provided by the Attendee for the purposes of implementation of these Conditions, including for administration, communication, enforcement and access control purposes, and for the purposes of sharing information relating to the Series. SailGP may share such personal information as may be generally and reasonably required for the proper and efficient staging of the Event and for the purposes of sharing information regarding the Series and/or future Events and the Attendee (and/or Ticket Purchaser, if applicable) grants to SailGP the right to transfer the Attendee’s personal data to SailGP and/or third parties, including within and outside the European Union. The Attendee has a right of access to, and correction of, his/her personal information by written request to SailGP. All information supplied by the Attendee shall be stored, transferred and processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
  3. Each of the provisions set out in these Conditions shall be severally enforceable. If any provision or part-provision of these Conditions is or becomes invalid, illegal or unenforceable, it shall be deemed deleted, but that shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the rest of these Conditions.
  4. The declaration of nullity or ineffectiveness of any provision contained in these Terms does not invalidate the application of the remaining provisions.
  5. The customer is responsible for checking the updated version of the Terms and Conditions on the Event page and the ticket purchase website (“www.eventim.com.br/”), and may not claim ignorance of any changes that may be made by the organizers without prior notice.
  6. The Event promoter may have access to personal data of ticket purchasers, registered by such purchasers for their registration and completion of the ticket purchase on the website and/or at physical ticket sales points. This access is for the legitimate interest of the event promoter, primarily for the purpose of document verification and contact with consumers.
  7. In cases not provided for in these Terms and Conditions, the applicable laws in force shall apply, and in the absence of specific provisions, the Event organizers reserve the right to resolve any doubts and omissions that may exist.
  8. The ticket holder expressly declares that they have read, understood, and accept these Terms and Conditions and that they are fully aware of the rights and obligations arising therefrom.
